Molls gets down to cricket business
Molls continue to impress in the cricket association.

Molls showed they meant business on Sunday when they took on Endumeni Development in a T20 game. Currently all T20 Night League games are being played on Sundays, after the lights at the Oval fused and are not working. Endumeni Development batted first, and could only manage 91 all out. Peter made 19 and Mfundo made 17. Cameron Fogg took 3/15 and Roger Flanagan took 2/16. Molls then made the score in 15 overs with six wickets in hand. Joff top-scored with 27 not out, and Cameron made 17. Kwasi took 3/18 and Zeze took 1/12 as Molls claimed an impressive win. On Sunday Ace Eagles ran out winners against Castle Knights in the other T20 game. Batting first Ace Eagles made 209 all out, thanks to 31 from Hamzah and 25 from Waheed. Ameer impressed by taking 4/34 for Castle Knights, while Craig took 2/36. In reply Castle Knights were bowled out for 126. Farouk took 3/15 and Azhar took 2/8 for Ace Eagles. In the Saturday 30-Over League Ace Eagles pulled off an upset when they beat Legends in a 30-over match at Kallies Stadium. No stats were available for that match. Farmers and Castle Knights also did battle in the Saturday League, and it was Farmers who walked away with an impressive win. Batting first, they made 226/6. Stephen Joubert top-scored with 45 not out, and Jacques Bierbaum made 38 not out. Brendon was the best bowler for Castle Knights, taking 2/24. Castle Knights’ chase never really got going as they were bundled out for only 98. Hameed was their best batsman, making 24. Tienie Ments took 2/16 and Conrad van Wyk took 2/26 as Farmers strolled to victory.
