Vryheid Rugby Club’s season begins

ON January 24 a Sponsors’ Function was held and this proved to be extremely successful.
We would like to thank the sponsors who have agreed to come on board and welcome them to the team. Without them, this year’s new approach would not be possible and their contributions have exceeded our expectations. These sponsors will be revealed at a later stage. Thank you from the club committee and all the players. Vryheid Rugby Club has kicked off the rugby season on a very good note with training having started three weeks ago in preparation for four warm-up matches, the first of which will be held on February 8. The players have proven their enthusiasm and excitement by training during the off-season and continuing to build on their form with three times weekly practice sessions. The first order of business is team-building this coming week-end which the club’s committee has organised. This experience will provide for a lot of fun and games, but also challenges and problem-solving for which teamwork will be imperative.
