Young angler reels in success
Alisha Janse van Rensburg competed in the SAFBAF Championships recently.
Alisha Janse van Rensburg has set herself apart from other junior anglers.
A member of the Iscor Angling Club, she was recently selected for the KwaZulu-Natal team, which competed in the South African Freshwater Bank Angling Federation (SAFBAF) Championships, hosted at Bloemhof Dam recently.
Despite difficult conditions, she was ultimately selected to represent the SAFBAF junior women’s national team.
Alisha, who has been an avid angler since the tender age of five, earned this achievement through hard work and dedication.
Both she and her family thanked all who played a part in her journey thus far.
