Paintball gun battle fun

It was fun galore as some hid behind trees and waited to ambush unwary victims

The Ladysmith Paintball Team had a great time getting “black and blue with bruises” on Saturday morning, all in the name of simulated warfare fun.
The team members met up at Mr Video in the San Marco Centre and then departed for the venue, which is open farmland on the N11.
Once the gung-ho guys arrived, it was time to get out the guns and protective clothing.
Divided into two teams, it was down to the business of tracking down and shooting their opponents.
Shrieks of laughter (and pain, you better believe it) punctuated the air as the guns ‘popped’ and the paint smacked into its mark.
Players from Newcastle also joined in and had a morning of rough-housing with the Ladysmith posse.
It was fun galore as some hid behind trees and waited to ambush unwary victims.
Bang, bang, you’re dead… If you get hit, you hold up your arms and exit the game, waiting for the next round to rejoin the action.
What a way to spend a Saturday morning, releasing a little bit of aggression in a controlled environment where no one really gets hurt and everyone has loads of competitive fun to see who the victors are. “We won the war!”
