March Mug winner is Deejay Ramdhav

On Saturday, March 8 will be the first leg of the Memorial Golf Weekend to be played at the Estcourt Golf Club in the format of a BBBS

Last Saturday, March 1 the Lalparsad Inc Attorneys sponsored Monthly Mug combined with the Ind Stab competitions were played.
Visitor Ledley Hume was welcomed.
Winner of both comps was Deejay Ramdhav with a score of 64 nett and 44 points resp.
In second place also for both comps was Fred Vickers scoring a 65 nett and 43 points respectively.
A 67 nett and 41 points earned Jackson Fick third place whilst fourth place went to Gordon Chotu with a 69 nett and 40 points.
Closest to the pin after two shots on number two for the Gerry’s Motors trophy was Vaughan Ric Hansen and on number three off the tee was visitor Ledley Hume. Two clubs went to Ledley on numbers three and seven and Rajen Goodoon on number seven.
The jackpot was won by Reuben Meades with 11 points.
This Wednesday, March 5 (today) will be a BBBS and then on Saturday, March 8 will be the first leg of the Memorial Golf Weekend to be played at the Estcourt Golf Club in the format of a BBBS.
The second leg will be played at Gowrie Golf Club in Nottingham Road where the format will be a Combined Stableford. All details have been posted on the club notice board.
All golfers are requested to support this weekend, which is generously sponsored by the Maree and Brown families in memory of Wessel and Mike respectively and all other late golfing members.
We are saddened to hear that Frank Bloy, a loyal member of long standing, has been hospitalised.
On behalf of the committee and all members we wish him a speedy and complete recovery back to good health! A notice regarding the Annual General Meeting in on page 9 in the Town Crier. There is a proposal to amend the Constitution and all members are requested to attend this very important AGM.
