Why should you join EAC?
‘If you want to run fast, go alone… If you want to run far, go with others" African Proverb

The Estcourt Athletic Club was established in 1972.
It has been a significant part of the running culture of Estcourt and over the years many runners and walkers, old and new have made new friends, motivated one another through the toughest of races and supported one another as friends on and off the road.
EAC caters for all runners, walkers and cyclists, whether you join as a single member or bring along the whole family you will be welcomed among friends! You can contact Nikki on 083 555 9749 or Andrew on 082 567 5998 for more information.
Why join a running club?
‘If you want to run fast, go alone…
If you want to run far, go with others” African Proverb
One of the great things about running is that you can do it alone.
Many of us enjoy running precisely because it gives us a little time to ourselves.
But there are also significant benefits from being a member of a running club.
Running clubs are not full of super-fit, super-fast athletes; nor are they full of serious runners. You don’t have to get fast before you join: whatever your standard, you will be welcome, and you will almost certainly find that there are plenty of members who run more slowly than you do!
Joining a running club keeps you motivates and accountable (for those mornings you don’t want to get out of bed!), keeps you in touch with like-minded people who can help you get to where you want to be, whether it’s your first 5km’s or your first marathon and provides an opportunity for social interaction with people with a passion for life!
Come and have FUN while getting fit!
