New V8s to get pulses racing

All-new Model V8s will be in action as the Northern Natal Championships come to Newcastle, pitting the town against Volksrust in a thrilling head-to-head encounter.
Both towns are poised to stake their claim on the next stage.
Gates open at 2pm on Saturday (March 29) for scrutinising from 3pm, opening the door for residents to view contenders in the Rookie, Tin Tops, 1600s, 1660s, Hot Rods, 2-litres and new Model V8 classifications.
Speed enthusiasts can also get a look at the cars from Volksrust.
Organisers have guaranteed the Model V8s will entertain all and sundry, with the race action speeding off from 6pm, incorporating drivers both known and unearthed.
