Last Saturday, March 22 a club sponsored BB Medal was played.
Visitor Willie Lombard was welcomed.
Winners with 61 nett were new captain and new member respectively Ajeesh Lalparsad and Robbie Wattrus.
Second with a nett 63 were Fred Vickers and Owen McLuckie with third place going to Ian Freeman and Arnold Boettiger carding a nett 64. Ian was closest to the pin on number three and sank his putt for the only two club of the day. On Wednesday, March 19 a BBBS was played with Owen and Graham McLuckie winners and Phiwe Mabaso and Gordon Chotu taking second place.
Visitors Andy Bainborough and previous member Russel Potgieter were welcomed.
Vaughan Ric Hansen was closest to the pin on number three and two clubs went to Bruce le Roux and Robbie. The McLuckies won the jackpot with 13 points.
A big thank you to Martin Finch from Torro Greens Machines for clearing up a few points regarding greens preparation before the competition.
The Friday nine hole comp. was won by Bun Hamman with a score of 21 points.
While his clubs are hot he has done the right thing and entered for the club champs this weekend. Have you the golfing member entered yet? There are still slots open and your clubs could also be hot!
Today Wednesday, March 26 will be a BBBS comp. and then on Saturday and Sunday, March 29 and 30 will be the annual Club Champs. All details are posted on the club notice board. See you all this weekend!
