Golf Club hosts ladies’ inter-region matchplay

Dundee Golf Club is a hive of activity in April

Wednesday’s IPS meat competition attracted a fair field. The winner was Shakeel Kalideen with 21 points; second Silindo Khanyile with 20 points, counted out from Dan Scholtz. Friday’s 11-hole competition was won by Dan Schotlz with 24 points, counted out from R de Vos.
The Ladies’ Inter-Region Matchplay was played this weekend. Saturday was a Better Ball Foursome, and Sunday the ladies played a Matchplay. South Coast Umdoni and North Coast Region both scored the highest, scoring 10 points. The weekend was well attended, and a huge thanks to Hein, Debbie, Veronica, Stanley and the clubhouse team for all their effects in making this event a great success.
The ladies from the various clubs in KZN enjoyed the hospitality and catering by the Dundee Country Club. Please remember IPS 9-hole meat competitions every Wednesday and Friday. Social Round Robin Squash being played on Wednesday nights – R20. Weekly Draw on April 11, so come and join us and stand a chance to win R700.

Remember – paid up members only qualify for the money if membership number drawn. Saturday night is rugby braai night – please join us on Saturday nights – meat, and salads available to purchase.

The club has now got card payment facilities. Annual Flotek Day: April 12. 4BBB. Tee-off: 8am.

Closing date April 10 – no late entries will be accepted. Entry Fee: R150 (supper included). On April 16, the Dundee Country Club will be hosting an Easter Egg Hunt. Cost is R80 per child – please book at the DCC (034 218 1000) before April 11 to avoid disappointment. The Easter Egg Hunt will start at 4:30pm from the clubhouse.
