On Saturday, August 20 the golf club hosted a club competition with the course still in spring treatment.

Winners on 46 points were Peter Wood and Carlo Piagesti. Second were George van Niekerk and Vaughn Ric-Hansen on 45 points. In third place were Owen McLuckie and Wilfie Laatz on 44 points. Two club winners were Carlo Piagesti and Greg Dowling on hole number three.

This Saturday, August 27 will be the monthly Skaap Dag sponsored by the Mavericks and Vaughn Ric-Hansen’s farewell. All golfers, please support this wonderful event. Please watch the notice board at the club for forthcoming events.

A reminder to all golfers to repair divert and pitch marks on fairways and greens and stay 15 meters away from front of greens during grass recovery period.
