Fanciers have a dam good race
In the young bird race, Koos Ferreira claimed first, third and fourth place, consigning Gerhard van der Merwe to second. The old bird race was more of the same.
Newcastle Racing Pigeon Club veterans excelled in a race from Gariep Dam recently.

The old bird race was more of the same.
Koos ended with five birds in the top 10, including first, second and fourth place, which put club chairman, Kiewiet Oosthuizen in a bronze finish.
