The children started playing in the morning and continued their friendly games well into the afternoon

The little ones had a great time playing cricket in Gazza Place recently.

It was just a friendly game for the youngsters to keep themselves busy over the weekend.

A Ladysmith Gazette journalist caught up with the children as they took great delight hitting fours and sixes, with wickets tumbling at regular intervals.

There was lots of chatting and laughing in between the action, with fun and sportsmanship being the order of the day.
