A few bowlers braved the weather on Saturday afternoon and had a good game of bowls. Our Sunday bowls/golf tournament was postponed due to the rain but will be played this Sunday, September 25.

The club champs Nkanyiso Mntambo and Aruna Drewitt went to play in the District Champs in Ladysmith over the weekend. Nkanyiso won his section and moved on to the semi-finals on Sunday.

He lost to the eventual winner. Well done to this young man for being placed in the top four in the district.

A very big surprise awaited Nkanyiso on Saturday in Ladysmith as he was presented with a brand new set of bowls by an anonymous donor.
