Arnold and Gordon win club competition
With a good turn out and the course in good condition as well as the weather, made for excellent playing conditions.
On Saturday, October 22 the golf club hosted a club competition, with a good turn out and the course in good condition as well as the weather made for excellent playing conditions.
Winners on 45 points on a count out were Arnold Fortmann and Gordon Smith. Second on 45 points were Reuben Meades and Paul Wagenaar and third were Bruce le Roux and Melton Schiever on 44 points.
Closest to pin number three was Arnold Boettiger and the only two club was won by Gordon Smith on hole seven.
The jackpot was won by Paddy Geraty and Fred Vickers on 12 points.
On Saturday, October 29 will be the Macksons Skaap Dag, see the notice board at the golf club for details. All golfers please get your names down for the Eskort Ltd – Estcourt Open on November 18, 19 and 20.
