Game faces on for golfers in full swing

NEWCASTLE – Whenever clouds part and the sun shines through, avid golfers come out to play.
Saturday, November 12 saw the Supertech BMW Monthly Mug Competition (medal) in full swing as men and women competed in their respective divisions.

The harsh winds were not a deterrent to the golfers as they made their way from one hole to the next.
The results were as follows: in the men’s A division, Coert Grobler bagged 75 points nett, while Ebert Koorts scored 70 points in division B. Lukas Oosthuizen managed to scoop 75 points in division C.
In the women’s division, Jenny Darvall accumulated 91 points nett.
