Paki Lions and Rebels trade wins

Cricket action resumed this past week with three games being played and only one being rained out.
T20 League: Paki Lions vs Rebels
Paki Lions batted first and made 167/4 from their 20 overs. Farouk top scored with 53 while Kamran made 41 not out. Mfundo took 2/28 for Rebels. In reply, Rebels could only make 121/3 from their allotted overs. Dean top scored with 62 not out while E Goolam chipped in with 39. Farouk took 2/10 and Saeed took 1/16 as Paki Lions picked up a good win.
Molls vs Ace Eagles
Game rained out. Both teams shared the points.
30 Over League: Farmers vs Ace Eagles
Farmers batted first, making 126/8. C Coetzee top scored with 55 and Pieter Johnson made 12 not out. Udien took 4/20 and Ashruf took 2/19. In reply Ace Eagles comfortably won thanks to 52 from Labeeb and 35 from Yusheer. Joff took 2/18 and Gert took 1/5 as Farmers could not stop the eagles from soaring.
Paki Lions vs Rebels
Rebels were looking for revenge when they took on Paki Lions in a 30 Over Saturday League game. Rebels batted first and made 157/7 thanks to 39 runs each from Mzwandile and Mikaile. Kamran took 3/17 and Ali took 1/26. Paki Lions put up a good fight but fell just short as they were bowled out for 141. Adeel top scored with 30 and Farouk made 28. Ashley took 3/32 and Dean took 3/37 as Rebels picked up an impressive win and avenged their loss in the T20 game.
