Smaller field for tabs-in bowls

NEWCASTLE – Over the past couple of weekends, a few tabs-in competitions have been held, sadly with somewhat reduced fields.

The monthy FedAuto meat competition was won by Ron Howe, Lyn Cilliers and Alex Zaal (10 + 23), with second prize going to Billy Nicholas, Piet Reyneke and Johanna le Roux (9 + 6).

Members are reminded of the turkey competition, to be held on Friday afternoon (December 16).

This will be followed by a Christmas dinner at the club – names must please be entered on the list on the notice board.
