NEWCASTLE – Docrats Angling Club recently held its prize giving for the 2015/2016 season, in conjunction with the Champion of Champions angling event at Ntshingwayo (Chelmsford) Dam.

The winner of the Champion of Champions fixture was Ramesh Ramdeyal, who reeled in 38 points, followed by Rajesh Ramdeyal with 33 points, and Sadeck Iqbal with 26 points in the third place.
Sadeck Iqbal clinched the win in the Association League with 20 points. Imraan Khan was placed second with 17 points, and Junaid Iqbal third with 16 points.
Junaid Iqbal came out tops in the Club League, with Sadeck Iqbal and Rafik Iqbal in second and third place respectively.
The heaviest scale fish, weighing 3.5kg, was caught by Rajesh Ramdeyal. The heaviest non-scale fish, weighing 3.890kg, was caught by Shane Singh.
The Docrats Angling Club management team congratulated all the winners on their outstanding performance.
