Batting first, Old Boys posted 141 for four, thanks to a top score of 50 from Henri Linde, and followed with a formidable bowling attack.
Drakensberg Old Boys were the team of the week, recording three victories this past week.
This was the team’s fourth consecutive win across all competitions.

Last Wednesday, Old Boys posted 135 for the loss of eight wickets in 20 overs, and restricted AMSA to 132 for nine to clinch a narrow win.
Old Boys then caused a huge upset, beating Highlands the following day.

The defensive effort saw Highlands held back to 118 for five.
In a one-sided contest which launched the second week of the KFC Night League, Underdogs bowled Lennoxton out for just 40 runs.
Underdogs took eight overs to clinch a seven-wicket win.
In Group A of the Night League, Asians, Eagles and Underdogs are joint leaders with two points a piece.
Lennoxton and Warriors have yet to open their tally.
In Group B, Old Boys have amassed four points, and currently stand ahead of second-placed Phoenix on two.
AMSA, Highlands and Paradise have no score yet.
Old Boys would again mark itself as a formidable contender in the second round of the Trevor Smith Sport Shield.
The team scored a mighty 272 in 30 overs, bolstered by 99 by Sakkie van der Merwe.
In reply, the Newcastle and Districts Cricket Association Invitational team had a good start, with Sajid Gori posting 91 not out, and a cameo of 51 by Renesh Harbhajan.
However, Old Boys still ran out the victor by a 20-run margin.
Lennoxton hoped to bounce back from a disappointing Night League match and did well to set a total of 121 for nine wickets.
A 58 by Sanjeev Wijuyarantha was the highlight of the innings.
However, it was not enough to deny a strong Eagles outfit, which passed the target score in just 22 overs and five balls.
Sandile Hlatshwayo scored an unbeaten 59 to cement his team’s win.
Underdogs rounded off a successful week in cricket by beating Highlands by three wickets, and look to be serious contenders for the semi-final berth.
Finally, Asians romped to victory against Warriors.
A fine knock of 66 by Sohail Gori helped Asians take the game away from Warriors, which was bowled out for 90 in the 23rd over.
The log is as follows:
Old Boys leads Group A with four points, followed by Phoenix and Eagles on two each, and NDCA Invitational and Lennoxton with zero.
Underdogs leads Group B with four points in total.
Paradise and Asians have two points each going into the third week, while Highlands and Warriors have yet to get off the mark.
Round three fixtures pits Eagles against Phoenix.
NDCA Invitational takes on Lennoxton, Underdogs and Paradise clash and the final encounter is Asians versus Highlands.
