Volleyball stars making waves in Ladysmith

When it comes to volleyball in Ladysmith, the name Spartans has to ring a bell, as they are one of the best teams around.
Spartans and Spartans 2.0 are a talented group of volleyball players who have what it takes and really know the ins and outs on the volleyball court.
The team are a bubbly group and are always willing to have a great time during their training sessions and even when they play competitive matches.
The team has recently been taking a break after competing in the Cansa Tournament which was held at the Indoor Sports Complex. However, the well-deserved break isn’t as easy as it sounds, as they are still having their weekly training sessions at the courts in Protea Drive.

Speaking to some of the players, they say that volleyball in town has grown from strength to strength and continues to grow week after week.
They add that their games are competitive yet friendly and anyone is welcome to join the action.
The Spartans team is always looking for new, young stars who are willing to fill up the ranks of one of the best volleyball teams around.
The players work hard on their skills during training sessions, as they still have league matches they take part in weekly.
