Ladysmith lads enjoy hitting the little white ball around
The three boys participate in the Monthly Mug, Sponsor Tabs and other matches played at the club
Three friends who are all 12 years old – Ayden Sirchia, Cameron Wessels and Adil Singh – simply adore playing the game of golf.
The boys’ dads are friends with one another and go out during the week and weekends to play golf at Ladysmith Country Club.
That’s when the boys met and made friends with one another. They started accompanying their dads to the club and learnt how to play golf. They attend Hamilton Preparatory School, Egerton Primary School and Monument Primary School respectively.
Cameron started playing golf when he was six years old, Ayden when he was only four and Adhil when he was only three years old.
They smile as they tell the Ladysmith Gazette that they hope to become professional golfers one day, besides embarking on other careers. Cameron would like to become a lawyer when he finishes school, Ayden a rugby player as he also plays rugby at school (yes, another sporting career) and Adhil Singh a neurosurgeon.
