Bowlers roll for needy children
The club would like to take this opportunity to wish our readers a very merry Christmas and a joyous 2018.
This last Saturday, 26 bowlers from in and around Dundee came together for the Dundee Bowling Club’s first ever toy run.
A brilliant sunshiny day was had by all but, more importantly, bowlers collected a wonderful amount of toys which will be handed out to needy children at Dundee Provincial Hospital and at the Crisis Centre. A huge thank you to our members, visitors and friends of the club who took the time out to enjoy this special afternoon.
For those who might be looking for something to do this Friday evening, the club is arranging sunset bowls and with play to start at 5:30pm with a braai afterwards. Bring along your family, friends and basket and enjoy the evening with us. Contact Greg (082 924 7788) for more details.
