Enthusiastic KZN Country Bowlers secure the sports’ future

These youngsters are the future of bowls, however, it’s not always financially possible to send a number of teams away to the National Championship. Kindly contact Greg to find out more about the “Adopt a Child” initiative.

This past Saturday the club played host to a total of 26 excited yet nervous junior bowlers from around the KZN Country Bowls District who took part in the u/15 and u/20 trials for the National Championship that will be held in Bloemfontein in April. It was wonderful to see so many youngsters on the greens. Due to the high standard of bowls, the selectors, along with the KZNCB President, Gavin Robinson, had a difficult task selecting the players that will be going through to Bloemfontein. However, at the end of a long hot day, the best players were chosen. Congratulations to each player whose name was called out. The first practice session will take place on Saturday, February 10 in Dundee.
