Volleyball teams go at it in Protea Drive
The players compete in league matches on a weekly basis
A Ladysmith Gazette journalist recently caught up with some bubbly, enthusiastic volleyball players in the heat of the action.
Players making up the Spartans and Spartans 2.0 teams were enjoying a friendly yet competitive match on the court in Protea Drive. The scorching heat seemed to have no adverse effect at all, as the players kept the ball in the air, jumped and smashed to put points on the board.
The players always seem to have a great time, whether during training sessions or league matches.
The Spartans team say they are always looking for new, young stars who are willing to fill up the ranks of one of the best volleyball teams around.
