Time ticks away to SPCA Golf Day
This competition will be played in the four ball better ball Stableford format.
The field is filling up, so put your names in for the SPCA Sponsored Day this Saturday (October 5). This competition will be played as four ball better ball Stableford.
Heritage Day: Thanks to all who took part in the Heritage Day competition, held in the form of an IPS. The winner on a very good 44 points was Wessel Odendaal, while second was the club’s up and coming golfer, Bjorn Wellmann on a good 39, counted out from third-placed Rob Streak. Fourth was Rigardt Albertse on 38 points – well done to all. The jackpot was won by Veronica Donaldson on 13 points. Two clubs were carded by L de Wit, Rob Streak, Sifiso Kunene, Hasen Ameen and Rigardt Albertse.
Dave’s Wednesday IPS competition: Dave’s competition played out over 11 holes and was won by Dan Scholtz on 23 points, counted out from Dave Donaldson. In third was Blessing Chiuraya on 21 points.
Friday’s Chicken Run: Thanks to all who took part in the Chicken Run, which was won by Wayne Bezuidenhout on a good 26 points. Second was Victor Clark on 23 points.
Saturday’s club competition – played in the form of an IPS – was won by John Zulu on a good 40 points. Second was Rigardt Alberse on 38 points and third was Dan Scholtz on 37 points, counted out from Rob Streak. The only two club was carded by Billy Francis.
The club wishes Dave and Sue Malherbe a speedy recovery and extends its condolences to Andre Beyers’ family and Sarah.
