Rugby club near its centenary milestone
The official practice season starts on January 23, from at 6pm to 7.30pm at Cecil Emmett Sports Grounds

Vodacom Super Hero Sunday kicked off at the weekend when the Sharks went head to head with the Stormers.
This officially marked the start of the South African rugby season, and for those on the field, the action was real.
For those off the field, the action is just as real when they instruct and coach from the comfort of their homes or the stadium seats.
Vryheid may not have superhero rugby leagues or Marvel-inspired kit, but they are definitely superheroes in their own right and in the eyes of their supporters.
Vice-chairman of the local club, Siya Mazibuko is excited to announce the start of the new season.
The Vryheid team played well during the previous rugby season, but fell short during its semi-final game against Piet Retief, losing by only two points.
Piet Retief has a fierce team, but this will not deter the locals from the goal of playing in the finals.
This year, said Mazibuko, Vryheid is going all the way.
The club celebrates its 100th anniversary next year and management and players are working towards making it a great season for the club and for Vryheid. It is currently in need of sponsorship for gear, equipment, field maintenance and transport to matches.
The official practice season starts on January 23, from at 6pm to 7.30pm at Cecil Emmett Sports Grounds.
The club invites everyone 18 years and older to attend and try out for the team.
The first game is tentatively set for April 10 against the Flying Eagles.
