Monthly Mug win for Johannes Mchunu

Johannes Mchunu wins the monthly mug on a count-out

The February monthly mug, sponsored by Mortimer Toyota, was won by Johannes Mchunu on a count-out from Nkosi Khuzwayo and Richard Naidoo, all on a nett 70.

The Stableford points were won by Phiwe Mabaso on 39 points, followed by Johannes Mchunu on 38, with Doc Khuzwayo also on 38. The Gerry Motors shoot-out for the year was won by Fred Vickers after some very good shots.

The Mug of Mugs was won by Doc Khuzwayo on a nett 70, followed by Richard Naidoo, also on 70, and Rajen Goodoon on nett 75. The jackpot was won by Doc Khuzwayo on 12 points.

No less than five two-clubs were scored, all donated to the club for the building of the deck.

The Wednesday competition was won by Deejay Ramdhav and Richard Naidoo on a count-out from Melton Schiever and Harry Kooverjee, both on 41 points.

Friday’s nine-hole competition, sponsored by Pick ‘n Pay, was again won by Deejay Ramdhav on 21 points.
Wednesday and Saturday will be Better-Ball, sponsored by the club.
