Dave Donaldson wins namesake golf competition

Dave scored 25 points, and was counted out from both Loraine de Wit and Sibusiso Mthembu.

Dave’s Competition will be played on March 4, over 11 holes in the form of an IPS. The Chicken Run will be played on March 6 over 10 holes, in the form of an IPS. On March 7, the March edition of the Monthly Mug will be played in the format of Individual Medal. Please enter at the Pro Shop.

Results:

The winners for Dave’s Competition played February 26, over 11 holes in the form of an IPS, were as follows: first – Dave Donaldson on 25 points, counted out from both Loraine de Wit and Sibusiso Mthembu.

The winners for Saturday’s Leap Year Club Competition, played in the Four Ball Better Ball Stableford format, was won by Razak Khan and K.P. Smith on 42 points, counted out from Cyril Mkhanazi and Sifiso Kunene. In third was the team of Louis Albertse and Phillip Ceronio on 41 points, followed by John Zulu and Blessing Chiwaya on 40 points counted out.

The club thanks the president and the captain for their sponsorship. It was good to see Razak Khan play on a Saturday. Two clubs were carded by Billy Francis on Holes 4 and 12, and Cyril Mkhwanazi on Hole 4.
