ESTCOURT: Playing in the toughest of weather conditions at the Club Champs
Bruce Marx played an incredible two days of golf, braving the rain to win the A Division and become this year's club champion

Estcourt Golf Club members battled some of the toughest weather conditions they have ever experienced to compete in the Estcourt Club Champs.
Bruce Marx played an incredible two days of golf, braving the rain to win the A Division and become this year’s club champion.

The B Division went to Roy Unsworth, while the C Division winner was Warren Smith.
The ladies did exceptionally well too, considering the bad weather.
The Ladies’ B Division winner was Gail Boettiger and C Division winner Delia le Roux. Our lady captain, Laura Erasmus, came second.
The splendour of the course made it a little easier for the golfers to be able to play in the pouring rain.
