Golfers compete in better-ball competition
First were Melton Schiever and Elias Mageza with 51 points
This past Saturday (June 10) was the SPAR-sponsored better-ball competition.
The results are as follows:
First were Melton Schiever and Elias Mageza with 51 points. In second place were Les Weideman and Deejay Ramdhav with 45 points.
Sam Sewsunker and Warren Smith clinched third place on 38 points.
Mike Hodgson and David Diedrick came fourth. The jackpot was won by Sam Sewsunker and Warren Smith with 11 points.
Closest to the pin on no. 3 was David Diedrick.
Only one two-club was carded for the day, which belonged to Elias Mageza on no. 12. A big thank you to the sponsors, as well as the members who participated.
A reminder to the public, as well as the golfers, to come and support the club’s Family Day on June 18.
