The Winterton Primary School Interhouse Championship Gala took place last Thursday. Blesbok House were the winners and Eland House were the winners of the Spirit Trophy.
The following swimmers were awarded trophies. Under nine Boys – Tristan Moore, Under nine girls – Kate Moore, Junior Victor Ludorum – Ross Mcbey, Junior Victrix Ludorum – Savanna Rencken, Senior Victor Ludorum – Josh Culverwell and Senior Victrix Ludorum- Kayla van de Merwe.
In recognition for the time Ann Gray has spent teaching and coaching at the pool in Winterton for the last 25 years, the Winterton Country Club Pool was named the Ann Gray Swimming pool.
The plaque was unveiled by the head boy, Sven Zunckel and head girl, Robyn Mcbey.
