Monument Primary held an inter-school mixed doubles tennis tournament on Saturday morning at Ladysmith Country Club.
All schools from Northern Natal were invited to participate. The weather was perfect and the children really played their hearts out in the heat.
The above photograph shows intense concentration as Dian Jacobs hits the ball back over the net.
The players had all the shots in the book – forehands, backhands, volleys, lobs and smashes! All the children from the four schools that took part had great, competitive fun out on the courts.
