Sick muthi

Traditional healer finds himself facing two charges of rape.

He is seen as a man who could no wrong, helping people on a daily basis, but now this traditional healer finds himself facing two charges of rape.
Thokozani Mdluli (31), who operates out of his home in the Annieville area, will appear in the Dannhauser Magistrates’ Court on September 10 for his formal bail hearing after being charged with two cases of rape, one in June and the other in August.
Mdluli is accused of taking advantage of victims who come to his home for assistance, having told them that he needed to insert the muthi that will help them into their bodies.
To do this he asks them to undress so that he can administer the muthi, which he does by having sex with them. It is also alleged that he then asks them to wait in a back room while he sees to other people.
When he is done he returns to the victim, telling her that he needs to administer more muthi.
He allegedly asks them to strip naked, bend over and not look at him while he delivers the next dose.
