Fond farewells at Dannhauser

.' I have the greatest respect for Municipal Manager, Mr WB Nkosi, and his heads of department, for working with integrity and order."

Dannhauser Municipality said farewell last week to two loyal workers in the Technical Services Department.
Colin Krause, the Town Planning Technician, and Mr Hlatshwayo, a grader driver, both received certificates of thanks from the municipality.
Technical Services Manager Mr Nene, and Mrs Mohapi, Chief Financial Officer, presided.
Said Colin: “I have been blessed to have been able to work for 48 years in total; ten years for the Dannhauser Municipality as a Town Planning Technician. I’ve witnessed a lot of changes during that time, mostly positive thank goodness, and I have been asked to stay on until my replacement starts work. I have the greatest respect for Municipal Manager, Mr WB Nkosi, and his heads of department, for working with integrity and order.”
Colin previously worked at the Durnacol mine.
“Mr Hlatswayo has been with the Dannhauser Municipality for the past three years. Previously he also worked as a grader driver for the Newcastle municipality, and has been a great asset to this municipality, but at some time we must all of us must step back gracefully and allow younger people to take up our positions,” Colin told the Courier.
