Siephan’s love affair continues

One wants to jump in the pool, or soak up the peace, reading a book on one of the many benches placed strategically throughout the garden.

Being enveloped by the comforts of one’s own home is the best feeling in the world after a long day or vacation.

Avalon Guest Manor owner, Siephan Atterbury has tried and succeeded in creating a welcoming space that feels exactly like home, and in some cases, a whole lot better.

Almost a decade ago, Ms Atterbury opened Avalon Guest Manor, and two years ago, she branched out with a second property, which she named the Haus of Avalon.

The Haus of Avalon will be featured in the Khulisa Home and Garden event, and this venue is not to be missed. The attention to detail and colour within and throughout this home is awe-inspiring.

“I set a very high standard for myself,” said Ms Atterbury. “However, the standard that I set for my clients is a hundred times higher.”

Strolling through the Haus, with Ms Atterbury pointing out all her favourite touches, the sheer beauty and impeccable surroundings are undeniably cosy. One wants to jump in the pool, or soak up the peace, reading a book on one of the many benches placed strategically throughout the garden.

“The garden is the framework on which the house is built. I follow my instincts, and I believe in colour, and lots of it,” said Ms Atterbury.

Although the style is hard to define, Ms Atterbury describes it as a touch of class. And classy it is indeed. The environment is alluring and the garden is well planned, beautifully landscaped and lovingly maintained .

“By investing in the best, I have invested in my clients and in my business,” she concluded.
