Centenary Celebration parade through town

The SAPS brass band put on an immaculate display of precision marching

Under the blaze of the summer sun, Windsor Secondary School’s Centenary Celebrations continued on Saturday morning with a parade through town. Led by the SAPS brass band, schools in Ladysmith took part in the march.

Lots of spectators crowded the sidewalks in Murchison Street to take in the hive of activity.

Traffic was brought to a standstill while the parade was in progress, as the SAPS brass band put on an immaculate display of precision marching down the road.

Shoppers stopped and watched, as the band played popular tunes, much to everyone’s appreciation.

From there, the action continued at Windsor Secondary, where fair stalls were put up and there was entertainment aplenty.
