An air of grief, loss and sadness was tangible in the air in Estcourt on Sunday morning when the community learnt that a terrible crash had claimed the lives of four young men.

Four more of their friends were hospitalised.
Tragedy has befallen our small town, again.
Sunday’s accident undoubtedly brought back memories of so many young lives lost.
As a small and close-knit community, the grief is shared amongst the many friends and family whose support the bereaved families say has literally been a pillar of strength.
I guess it’s testing times like these that we often see the unity of our small community.
