This year’s Ladysmith Show is all set to be the best ever – thanks to a line-up of top entertainment the likes of which has never been seen before at any show in Northern KZN. Of this I am sure.
We have decided to shake things up a bit and in keeping with the theme ‘Fast and Furious Fun’, the show kicks off on Thursday (May 15) and ends with an amazing DJ-inspired Bhangra Bash (a first for Ladysmith) on Saturday night (May 17).

For the young at heart, the show boasts the biggest funfair. Yes, ever year they boast, but this year it is true!

There are too many rides to count and they’re the best rides around. We’re talking top-line rides used at both the Royal and Rand Show. So when we say nothing compares to the thrills and spills of the funfair, we mean it!

But that’s not all… Another first for any show in Northern KZN is the Max My Ride team, who will be doing ‘drifting’ and ‘spinning’ during six adrenaline-pumping shows throughout Saturday.

On Friday night, the show have stars such as Bobby van Jaarsveld and SA chart-topping all-girl band Blackbyrd to entertain you. Bobby’s latest album went double platinum two weeks after release, showing that he is one of SA’s leading male singing stars.
Also on the cards are Melanie Janse van Rensburg and Belinda Walker, both top acts in their own right.

And if that is not all, you get to see me in action. Come rain or shine, I will be there. I hope to see you there too!
