A better future for all starts with local government

Lets get back to basics and serve the people

Now that the dust of the 2014 elections has settled all that remains are the remains of the tatty posters that adorn our towns.  Now the hard work must start of actually realising those promises.

First up, is local government where bread and butter issues are a priority.  We cannot do much about the Ukraine but we care alot about that pothole on Cornhill Street and the fact that we are paying for two municipal managers – both acting.

Local government needs a huge wake-up call and top of the agenda should be a bid to cut out the patronage so rife in Endumeni which has seen the town slide into chaos.  Here’s hoping to a better future for all.
