1D headed to sunny SA
1Direction is heading to South Africa as part of their 'On The Road Again' stadium tour.
It’s official – boy band, 1 Direction, are heading to South African shores in March 2015.
According to promoters, Big Concerts, the ‘hunky’ band will be playing three stadium shows:
March 29 and 29 – FNB Stadium in Johannesburg, and
April 1 – Cape Town Stadium, Cape Town.
Tickets to all three shows will be on sale from this Friday (May 23) at 9am via Computicket and the Big Concerts website. The following information was also released:
All fans attending the concerts that are younger than 14 years must be accompanied by a parent/legal guardian.
There is also an age restriction on field standing tickets (Golden Circle East/West and General Admission East/West) – no one under 13 years and shorter than 1.2 metres will be permitted onto the field.
Last year One Direction released their record-breaking third album Midnight Memories, which saw them named as the IFPI’s Global Artist of 2013 for becoming the biggest selling act in the world.
They also became the first ever band to have their first three albums debut at No 1 in the US Billboard Chart, hitting the top spot in a further 30 countries worldwide.
