Paradise lost, again.
In a meeting on Wednesday evening, Ward 4 Cllr Tanya de Jager, addressed residents regarding their concerns about the unhealthy state of affairs.

Illegal dumping and municipal refuse bins mar the environment in Paradise.
In a meeting on Wednesday evening, Ward 4 Cllr Tanya de Jager, addressed residents regarding their concerns about the unhealthy state of affairs.
Mark Jacobs, who resides in Paradise, said municipal bins in the area had been causing problems for some time.
“Those on Finnemore Street are too close to the river and rubbish is often blown into the river. The bins should be moved further away and a set-up similar to that of the bins at Farmers Hall should be looked at,” said Mr Jacobs.
Certain Paradise residents have taken to dumping their rubbish in the veld and the river.
“I have found dirty nappies dumped in vacant land next to my house,” said disgusted Paradise resident, Vinesh Amichand.
Mr Jacobs said he has also caught people discarding rubbish into the river.
Cllr de Jager undertook to come up with a resolution and said she had contacted relevant departments.
