Amit and his love for sound
“A friend of mine introduced me to sound competitions and I really enjoy the people and the atmosphere that go with the events. I have also learned a lot during the years,” Amit said.
For the past 10 years, Amit Sewsancaran immersed himself in his passion for sound and made a name for himself through his love.
“Of the 400 sound competitions I competed in, I won 399,” he boasted.
Amit’s Corsa has two 12-inch Star Sound speakers and two Star Sound amplifiers, making it a force to be reckoned with.
Despite his outstanding track record, Amit doesn’t enter sound competitions just to win.
“A friend of mine introduced me to sound competitions and I really enjoy the people and the atmosphere that go with the events. I have also learned a lot during the years,” Amit said.
One of the most interesting facts he learned was that higher altitudes and colder weather resulted in better readings for sound competitors.
“I always wondered why people would come later during sound competitions and now I know. The colder it is or the higher altitude you are when competing, you get a much better reading than you would in warmer weather or at a lower altitude,” he said.
Although his hobby was expensive, Amit said he would gladly encourage others to become involved in the sound competition world.
