There is no oink-ment for a broken heart
Simmer down and enjoy reading this crackling good yarn about 32-year-old Miss Crispi

We all know relationships are tough, and people break up all the time. Sadly, in the South African context of break-ups, this normally involves guns and people being killed in three-way shootings. In Ladysmith alone, at least four such break-ups have ended in violent shootings in the past year.
But in America, it’s more about who brings home the bacon, so to speak.
A case in point is how a young 32-year-old woman in Utah tried to get revenge on her ex. Adawn Cameo Crispi pleaded guilty to reckless burning, attempted assault by a prisoner and intoxication this week.
Yes, while drunk, the young woman decided to burn down her ex-boyfriend’s house using bacon. Crispi reportedly gained access to her ex’s house, put a pound of bacon on a cookie sheet, and set the burner on high.
The ex-boyfriend, who was not home at the time, called police after he received 15 calls and text messages from Crispi in less than an hour.
When the cops arrived at the house, they found smoke coming out of the front door. The bacon was sadly burnt to a crisp.
One can only wonder what her ‘rasher-nal’ for using bacon was, but officers in Utah would have only been crackling with laughter if she hadn’t taken her frustration out on the ‘pigs’ when they burst in. Crispi was arrested after a struggle with police.
She was found to be four times over the legal alcohol limit.
Crispi will be sentenced on May 19 next year, and could face up to two years and three months in prison, which is something she will definitely be squealing about. So, here’s proof that there’s no oink-ment for a broken heart.
