Goats invade Glencoe Centre

'It is ridiculous that these animals are allowed to roam around while we have to pay rates and service charges to the municipality and clean up after the animals'

Roaming goats are causing chaos at the Glencoe Spar Centre. Irate shop owners arrived to open their shops on Freedom Day only to find the corridors filled with goat droppings.
Centre owner, Andrew Meli, said a herd of goats had apparently been given ‘the freedom of Glencoe’ to graze in the central business area, invade the Centre and leave behind evidence of their invasion.
‘No one knows who owns the goats. It is ridiculous that these animals are allowed to roam around while we have to pay rates and service charges to the municipality and clean up after the animals,” he fumed.
