Blackrock gears up for comedy connection

Simphiwe Shembe’s Comedy Connection is making its way to Blackrock Casino’s Exhibition Hall to bring fun and laughter to Newcastle.

The show is set to warm up the cold winter night on Friday, June 26.

Comedy Connection is a Zulu comedy show which travels to the various towns of KwaZulu-Natal, bringing comedians such as Tsoro, Syanda Maphumulo, Skhumba Mhlophe and many more along to showcase their talents.

“The Comedy Connection show is a great entertainment option for those who enjoy a night out filled with good laughs, family and friends,” said Blackrock Marketing Manager, Veneshrie Chetty.

“With Simphiwe’s 10 years of organising comedy events – such as Comedy Connection – we have no doubt that this will be a show to remember,” she added.

Doors open at 6pm and tickets are available at R120 per person. Rewards Cardholders save up to 20 per cent when purchasing tickets.

Guests can also stop at the cash bar on the night to enjoy some of the delicious food and beverages on offer.
