#FreshTake – Boost your energy to follow your dreams- Part 2

All the noblest dreams in the world mean nothing if we don't have the energy to pursue them

There’s always somewhere to go and something to do. Meetings at work, homework to finish or some other important project to complete.
We get the ‘flu. Birthdays. Holidays.

The list is endless and exhausting at times. It’s no wonder we have nothing left in the tank for a better life. It’s all we can do to maintain the life we have. Money is not the great currency of our time. Although many believe it is.

Energy is. Physical energy to get out of bed and positive energy to do something better with our lives. All the noblest dreams in the world mean nothing if we don’t have the energy to pursue them. Agree? Sometimes life throws all sorts of challenges our way. It could be a challenge at work or within your family; if not with your health.

And while facing that challenge you have no desire to chase the things that were once important to you. Sometimes as the icing on the cake, you’ll go through a career change that will drain even more energy, coupled with poor eating habits due to stress that will drained you even more.

That’s the thing about energy; it can drain out of us in so many different ways. Sure, bad health will do it, but so will a toxic relationship, or not being able to pay your bills, or finding your child is being bullied in school.

Worry. Fear. Regret. Anger.

They’re all “pin in the balloon” energy busters. Fortunately, there’s hope. Lots of hope. We just need to learn how to get our energy back. Be on the lookout for part three next week.
