A total safety experience

Total on Murchison Street will host a safety campaign exclusively for women on April 27.

The initiative comes just days before Mother’s Day and seeks to empower women from all walks of life.

The staff will train guests on basic vehicle maintenance such as checking their tyre pressure, oil gauge and water levels.

Local car dealerships will advise women on their vehicle’s safety features and present step-by-step instructions on how to change a tyre.

In addition, Protection Services will provide insight in certain safety regulations and the rules that should be followed in the event of a roadside emergency.

A towing company will demonstrate exactly what to do when a vehicle needs to be towed.

Children are welcome to attend the event. Tea and cake will be served.
