Experience a taste of India at Blackrock Casino
The pop-up store will give families a taste of authentic Indian cuisine, while entertainment will include an Indian dance showcase, a Live DJ who will be spinning some Bollywood-inspired tracks, and many other activities.
ARBOR PARK – For the first time ever, Blackrock Casino will be hosting an India-inspired pop-up store. on October 1.
The store will provide families an opportunity to experience the best of India while preparing for the Diwali festival, which also takes place in October.

Event coordinator, Candice Chetty said the store will give families a taste of authentic Indian cuisine, while entertainment will include an Indian dance showcase, a Live DJ who will be spinning some Bollywood-inspired tracks, and many other activities.
“On the day, there will be a designated children’s’ entertainment area which will serve up fun activities for the young ones. This will give parents a chance to truly experience everything the pop-up store has to offer.”
She said the store will also give local business owners a platform to showcase and sell their products to the general public.
“We are very excited to host the pop-up store, especially for all our Indian and Hindu supporters, who through their tremendous and ongoing support has made us the top entertainment venue in Newcastle. We encourage families to come out and have fun while showing support to local businesses.”
Tickets for this feast of the senses can be purchased at the Blackrock Casino Exhibition Hall and Outdoor Area door at R20 per person. Each ticket will give you access to the pop-up store, children’s’ entertainment area, food stalls and much more.

The gates to this event will open at 10am and close at 3pm.
