CANSA Relay for Life

Curves Pink Bra Fun Run
October 16 – Curves Women’s Fitness Centre in conjunction with CANSA, will be hosting its annual Pink Bra Fun Run.
Registration forms can be purchased from Tic-Tac-Toe at the Factory Plaza and entrance costs R80 per person.The run will commence at 9am from the Factory Plaza and end at the Curves Fitness Centre in Victoria Road. Wear your pink bra over your T-shirt and have some fun for a good cause. Men are also welcome to participate.

NOFTA’s Week of the Aged
October 22 – The Newcastle Organisation for the Aged (Nofta) will host the annual Week of the Aged function, at Nofta Service Centre at 5pm.
Tickets for members cost R80 per adult, and R50 per child under the age of 12.
A three-course meal will be served and a live band will provide entertainment.

Social Market Newcastle Launch 2016
November 5 – Join the Newcastle Social Market Launch for a fun filled day at the Newcastle Scrapyard from 11am to 6pm. Pop-up stores will display clothing, art, accessories, music and food, and up and coming artists will perform. There will also be an afterparty from 6pm to late. Tickets will be sold at the gate, and entry will cost R50, and R60 after 6pm.

CKN Dance School

New Age of Newcastle (NAON)

Hope Evangelical Church
October 15 – Hope Evangelical Church will be hosting a Walking in Power 5km fun walk and carnival, at 2 Lace Street, Fernwood. The carnival will commence from 10am and the fun walk at 2pm.
The fun walk and carnival entrance will cost R20, while the carnival only will cost R10 per adult and R5 per child.
There will be lots of stalls, games and many activities including horse rides, jumping castles, sport tournaments and a photo booth.
Loads of prizes to be won.

Newastle Lutheran Congregation Christmas Market
December 3 – The Newcastle Lutheran Congregation will be hosting its second Christmas Market at 15 Ouklip Street, Hutten Heights from 9am to 2pm. Stalls stock specialty goods. and shoppers can find the perfect Christmas gifts. There will be live entertainment on the day, bringing Christmas cheer.

Hindi Pracharni Sabha
Members of the community are invited to attend satsang on Tuesdays from 6pm to 7pm. Ramayan recital classes are held every Sunday from 9am to 10.30am.
