Mumbai Magic takes Newcastle by storm

Founders of DREAMZ24, Nash and Roshni Naicker hosted the spectacular event to bring Bollywood home for the community. Mumbai Magic was the first Bollywood show in over 20 years to be held in Newcastle.

Newcastle experienced Mumbai Magic, hosted by DREAMZ24 on December 3. The night was an extravagant affair of heart-stopping entertainment, which included the outrageous humour of Karou Charou as the Master of Ceremonies, dancing by The Dream Team of exclusively selected dancers, and the brilliant music of international superstars, Bombay Vikings.

District Mayor, Musa Ngubane and his family graced the event with their presence, and joyfully participated in Karou Charou’s antics that kept the crowd on the edge of their seats.

The programme also included the promotion of the movie, Jaan, which was produced in Durban by Newcastle’s very own, Retesh Dhevalall and starred Ashkelon Megnath, both of whom were extremely thankful for the exposure given to them by DREAMZ24.

Neeraj Shridhar of Bombay Vikings and his lead female singer, Gorisha, sang their hearts out, engaging wonderfully with the audience throughout their performances.

Another highlight of the event was a dance performed by the talented Kaushik Mondal, a star from Zee TV’s Dance India Dance season five finale.

The Dream Team danced the night away with colourful and vibrant routines throughout the event and dancers from CKN Dancing School performed an impressive item.

Overall, the night was a spectacular event and the crowd had a fabulous time.
